Thornbury's Community Woodland

Filnore Woods is Thornbury's community woodland. With over 16 acres of managed woodland, scrubland, and a seasonal stream, with footpaths leading to a viewpoint over the Severn Vale. Free to visit, open 24/7, and dog-friendly, with free parking nearby. The woods are looked after entirely by local volunteers, Friends of Filnore Woods, who work to keep it rich in wildlife and welcoming for everyone.
